"The frame goes up. The family sees it for the first time."
Every Family Deserves a Front Door That Locks.
Right now, 247 enrolled tribal families are on our waitlist. Some have waited 7 years. This winter, we're building 14 more homes. We need your help to build the 15th.
The waitlist is not a number. It's a kitchen table with nowhere to sit.
Federal funding covers roughly 40% of what's needed on sovereign land. The gap is filled by families sleeping on floors, by grandmothers rationing heat, by young workers who came home and found no door to open.

My mother is 74. She's been on the waitlist since 2019. Last February, a pipe froze and burst. She slept in her car for three nights. She's still waiting.

We came back from Denver to serve our community. My husband is a health aide. We have two kids. We've been sleeping in my aunt's basement for two years. There's nowhere to go.

I'm raising my three grandchildren. The trailer leaks. I put buckets out when it rains. SovereignHomes is the only reason I have hope we'll have something solid before I'm gone.

Every dollar becomes something you can hold.
We don't take your gift and make it disappear. We name it. We photograph it. We tell you which family it helped shelter.

14 homes finished this year. 6 more to go.
"We moved in February 14th. My daughter asked if this was really ours."
"Warm all winter. First time in 12 years."

"Our kids have their own rooms. They've never had that before."
Bring your hands. We'll bring the coffee.
Build trips run spring through fall. Housing and meals provided on-site. You'll leave knowing exactly which wall you framed.
"I drove out from Minneapolis with my son. We framed walls for six days. On the last day, the family came to see the frame. Their little girl ran through the door opening like it was already home. I've never cried on a job site before."
We'll reach out within 3 business days with trip details and logistics.

The woodstove is ticking. The blueprints are spread.
We know exactly what the next home costs: $47,000 in materials, 340 volunteer hours, and the certainty that a family will stop waiting. We're $18,000 short. Help us close the gap before the first freeze.
